So here's news...
Look who designed the cover of the Bath Komedia spring brochure! I'll admit it, I'm a heady mix of excited and proud.

You might recognise the design, as it was a competition entry from a couple of years ago, that has finally come home to grace the cover of the building which inspired it.
I'm excited because I made the cover - obviously - but I'm also excited because it's Komedia! I mean, Kiefer Sutherland played there!!! Admittedly I missed seeing him there (colour me gutted), but I have had so many awesome and memorable nights in that place: comedy nights, rock 'n' roll, Anton Du Beck, drag bingo...

You might have noticed I've been a bit absent from here lately. In fact I took a bit of a break from sketching completely, and I'm a little bit rusty. Family stuff got huge. The world changed. I found other ways to express myself, with a little more volume...
I began tap dancing again. I learnt the ukulele over the internet. And now I'm trying to play the guitar.

Three things that I have learnt: it is easier to dance in tap shoes than draw them; it is easier to play the ukulele than sketch it; musical instruments are meant to be listened to not gazed upon.

So back to sketching -
I have a new sketch book. I'll get back in the game, I promise.
See you soon.
