Malmesbury Abbey - a Saturday of Song

Last night I was once again supporting Mr Sketchesbylisa and the rest of the Bath Male Choir at their 'Saturday of Song' concert at Malmesbury Abbey. This time they were joined by a crescendo of Good Afternoon Choirs (what is the collective noun for choirs?) from Bath, Keynsham, Yate & Chipping Sodbury, Devizes and Bristol.

It really was a beautiful evening of song. The Bath Male Choir's legendary wall of sound never fails to move me, and combined with the sublime vocals of the Good Afternoon Choirs I felt truly awed. So thank you ladies and gentlemen of the choirs for such a wonderful evening.

I completed many sketches and plugged my website mercilessly (in my own, nervously, coy way). So if you are reading this because of last night then hello again, I'm glad we met!
Oh, and yes, Grenville, the CD was launched at the concert too! It looks fantastic, and after listening to it on our journey home, I can attest to the fact that it sounds even better than it looks. And rightly so. Go buy one.
